Fidelity Services Group, Southern Africa’s largest integrated security solutions provider and the industry leader in protection innovation, is delighted to have strengthened its ties with the Lions Rugby Company in what is a major boost for the franchise.
Fidelity Services Group and Fidelity ADT have been a long-time partner to the Lions family – a relationship spanning back over many years providing security and cleaning services in and around the Emirates Airline Park precinct.
Fidelity ADT has now expanded its partnership with the Johannesburg-based team from an associate sponsor for the teams participating in the current Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Currie Cup (including the Women’s Team), to becoming the jersey sponsor of the senior Currie Cup team now known as the Fidelity ADT Lions for the upcoming season 2023 season.
Ellis Park Stadium Managing Director, Pieter Burger:
“This is a massive development for us as a franchise,” said Burger.
“Fidelity ADT has been an integral part of the Lions family for many years and to now have them come on board as our Currie Cup jersey sponsor is a massive boost in a tournament that has been the bedrock of South African rugby for decades as one of the oldest domestic competitions in the world.”
Fidelity ADT CEO and former Springbok flank, Wahl Bartmann:
“We are delighted to be able to extend our partnership with the Lions family and be even more integrally involved in a game we all love and support.”
The Fidelity ADT Lions kick-off their 2023 Currie Cup campaign against DHL Western Province on 11 March 2023.
