Emirates Lions fullback Quan Horn claimed Vodacom United Rugby Championship’s esteem award of IRONMAN. The youngster, who has become a rock in his team’s last line of defence, continues to consistently put up standout performances in the international competition.

The Ironman award recognises the player who has racked up the most minutes over the 18 rounds of the Vodacom URC, and Horn grabbed it with his 1,428 minutes played.
The 21-year-old racked up 1,428 minutes on the field of play and was one of only 10 players to feature in all 18 of their team’s matches.

Quan Horn:
“I am extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award… totally unexpected. I would like to thank the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, my team mates and coaching staff for put so much faith in me by selecting me consistently. As a player, being part of the match 23 ignites confidence knowing that you are backed week in and week out.”
