The Lions Rugby Company had 70 players and staff tested for Covid-19 on Monday 15 March and all have been cleared with negatives results.

In terms of injuries, here is the list of players who are almost back to full training with the Pride.

Jamba Ulengo: Returned to full training on 8 March (injured knee in December)
Travis Gordon: Expected return to play date 29 March (should operation in November)
Hacjivah Dayimani: Back to full training next week (meniscus surgery in November)
EW Viljoen: Back to full training next week (knee injury in February)
Roelof Smit: Expected to return to full training on 5 April (knee injury on 26 February)
Sti Sithole: Expected to return to full training on 21 March (hamstring injury on 9 March)
Emmanuel Tshituka: Available for selection on 12 April (shoulder injury in February)
James Mollentze: ACL, MCL & meniscus on 10 March, expected to be out for 9 months
Jaco Kriel: Return to full training in June (ankle surgery)
Mark Snyman: Fractured R wrist, expected to be out for 12 weeks
Gianni Lombard: Predicted time of return to training is October (can be earlier), knee surgery in November
