A win for the Lions would mean that they have a chance at defending their title.
After a week lay-off, the Mastercard Golden Lions Women’s team returned to training on Tuesday, preparing for their match against the Valke Women which will take place on Saturday, 10 July at UJ West Sports Grounds.
With both teams unbeaten in this year’s competition, the top spot is at stake this weekend. A win for the Lions would mean that they have a chance at defending their title. If the Valke walks away with a win, and deny the hosts a bonus point, they will advance to the finals. If the Lions are able to secure a bonus point, whoever advances to the finals will be determined by points difference.
