EPCR Challenge Cup

The Lions kick-off 2026 with a trip to Durban where they will meet the Hollywoodbets Sharks on Saturday for their Round 9 fixture of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship

Vodacom United Rugby Championship action returns this weekend as the Lions travel to Cape Town to take on the unbeaten DHL Stormers in Round 7 of the competition.

The Lions are in Newcastle this week as they prepare to face the Newcastle Red Bulls for Round 2 of the EPCR Challenge Cup on Saturday evening.

Lions head coach Ivan ‘Cash’ van Rooyen has included Springboks Asenathi Ntlabakanye and Morne van den Berg in his run on XV for Round 1 of the EPCR Challenge Cup against Benetton on Saturday.

The Emirates Lions play host to the DHL Stormers this Saturday in Round 11 of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship taking place in Emirates Airline Park. Kick-off in Johannesburg is at 14:30.

The stage has been set for tomorrow’s Vodacom United Rugby Championship Round 10 highveld clash between the Emirates Lions and Vodacom Bulls at Emirates Airline Park on Saturday.
